Corporate Social Responsibility

Education is a matter of life and death to our nation. The world is moving so fast that if you do not educate yourselves you will be not only completely left behind, but will be finished up.
~ Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah

Today, education faces the rising challenges of standardized testing, strained budgets, teacher retention, and global workforce competition. Thousands of youngsters failed to continue studies due to financial instability. Pakistan has a 58% literacy rate recorded in 2020. Besides awareness and other factors financial instability is the major factor for students to drop studies.

Every year numerous children get enrolled in government institutions but only few of them complete elementary education successfully. In the present situation, highly ranked government institutions are inducting more students such that there are limited number of seats due to increasing merits and fee structures in private institutions.

The other contributing reasons to this are Poverty, Unemployment, and discrimination on basis of caste, gender, race and other Social barriers. In case of intermediate and higher education, the no. of aspirants is greater than the availability of the seats in institutions. However, plenty of private colleges have been opened but the fees of such colleges are very high that lower income group students cannot afford. The governments have limited resources to tackle these problems; therefore, intervention of the corporate sector in education is needed.
